AUS PGR was in Taylor, TX today to stand up for Willie Jerry Gore 75. Willie Gore enlisted in the US Air Force in Jan 1963 and served until Nov 1966, including a Vietnam tour. He left the service as a Senior Airman. He then obtained his Associates in Law Enforcement degree and served as a Texas State Trooper from 1967 to 1981. We had 7 PGR members standing a flag line at the Church, riding in the funeral procession and a 2nd flag line at the Cemetery. The family walked the flag line and thanked us for honoring Willie Gore.

Troy was in the US Navy from 1953 to 1957, leaving the service as a Hospital Corpsman PO3.
Troy enjoyed his church, golf, dancing, cooking, traveling, Sun City Card Club, Bible Study and his family.
This was the second mission for the day and eight PGR came from an early mission to honor Troy Bressett.
Flag Wrangler Don Ferguson had flags placed at the walkway to the church and it look perfect.

He continued being an auto mechanic in private life.We had 12 PGR standing for Airman First Class Oran F Graham. Austin LEO led us to the cemetery where we set up a second Flag Line. The Family thanks the PGR for being there for Oran.

Mr. Walker served in the US Navy as a submariner. There were 14 PGR in Cedar Park, TX. And 37 Other Motorcycles from difference clubs. We had 42 people on the flag line. We had LEO lead the way to CTSVC in Killeen for interment. Hundreds of people were at the cemetery when we arrived. Mark Walker is no longer alone may he rest in peace. Rusty Kohler served in the US Army from 1968 to 1973 and was an MP in Vietnam. He left the military as a Sergeant. Rusty also served in the Austin Police Dept. After retiring from the APD in 1996 he joined the Bastrop Sheriff office as a deputy and served from 1997 to 2009. We had 14 PGR members in the flag line. Some came in cages however most came on their bikes. The temp was under 100 degrees finally so that was good.

Brandon served in the US Marine Corps and was deployed to Iraq 2007-2008. Brandon Wright reached the rank of Corporal and received many Ribbons and Service Medals. He played football in school and college and was active as EMT and the Fire Department.
The PGR had 9 motorcycle and 2 cages in the 100 plus degree weather. There were 10 PGR standing in the flag line. A lot of family and friends were so thankful that the PGR would do this for their love one.
After the service LEO led us to Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery. We had 6 PGR and 2 family riders in the procession to San Antonio. The san Antonio PGR took over at the cemetery.

Billy Joe join the Army in 1948 .Two years later his unit was captured and he was held prisoner in North Korea, unfortunately he died in prison and he never came home for 68 years. The town of Kerrville came out and hundreds of people lined the roads with US Flags as we escorted PFC Billy Joe Butler to the Cemetery. A big present of Law enforcement officers and Fire Trucks were for there for Billy Joe Butler. There were 29 motorcycle and some cages. The flag line had 38 people.
Ride Caption Keith Longacre led a group out from Austin. And a group of PGR came from San Antonio and the rest of us came from all direction (Rest in Pease Billy Joe). Thanks for everyone that came.

Completed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders were in Cedar Park TX Monday April 30-2019 to show honors for Pete A. Martinez. Pete served in the United States Air Force from July 1981 to March 1985. He left USAF as a Senior Airman and passed away at the age of 55. We had 5 PGR members to honor Pete Martinez. This was a two part mission with the second part to escort Pete to (CTSVC) at 12:45. Completed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders were in Burnet TX Saturday April 27-2019 to show honors for David Lee Arnold.
David Arnold serve in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves from 1969 to 1975. We had 14 PGR members to honor David Arnold.
David Liked Motorcycling and had numerous friends riding with us to the cemetery on their Bikes. The family brought an American Flag
to the cemetery and ask the Patriot Guard to fold the Flag for them. Keith Longacre and Warren Longacre folded the flag.
We were assisted by Nicki Campbell and John Willy. We presented the Flag to David’s Grandson. This was a Gravesite Funeral.

Completed Mission:The Patriot Guard Riders were in Fredericksburg TX Saturday March 30 to show honors for Paul Roger Klier. Mr Klier serve in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves from 1969 to 1975. Paul Klier served during the Vietnam Era and served on the DMZ in Korea. Paul was a teacher and later worked in the high tech industry. He received a Master degree from the University of Texas.The weather was little cool however we had 15 PGR from Austin, San Antonio and Killeen, TX. Completed Mission: Leslie E. Clawson was 85 and served in the USMC. PFC Clawson was honorably discharged in 1952. He is survived by his wife of 66 years and 5 sons. The weather was cold and damp however 7 PGR stood in the flag line. Mr. Clawson’s Wife and Sons walked the flag line and thanked all the PGR. When the service was over 3 big flag bikes escorted the procession to the Cemetery. We fulfilled our mission with respect. Completed Mission: Neil McSwain Cochran, 65, of Georgetown TX.
Neil Cochran was a veteran of the US Marine Corp and Marine Corp Reserve. He served from 1971 to 1977 and left the service as a Sergeant.
The funeral home was full of family and friends and we had a good turnout with 16 riders and a total of 12 motorcycles. The family walked the flag line and thanked each one of us. The weather was good for the people as well for the riders.
After the service the PGR had 4 big flag bikes escort Sergeant Cochran to CTSVC in Killeen TX.
Many thanks to Don for wrangling the flags and thanks for all the riders that came to honor Sergeant Neil Cochran. -
