    The Patriot Guard Riders were in Georgetown, TX Today to stand up in a flag line at Ramsey Funeral Home for Tony Chmielewski. Tony served in the US Army from October 1964 to January 1969. Tony was stationed for a year in Korea and left active service as a private. We had 11 Patriot Guard Riders standing in cold weather and light rain. We had one brave rider on a motorcycle. The family walked our flag line and thanked all of us. This shows our commitment to our veterans.

    The Austin Patriot Guard Riders were in Pflugerville, TX today for the funeral of Sergeant Hosea Boswell Jr. Hosea passed away on October 19-2022 at the age of 77. Staff Sergeant Boswell serve 4 years in the USAF. We had 10 Riders stand up for Sergeant Hosea Boswell Jr. The family walked the flag line and thanked all of us. We had 2 First time riders today. Thanks For our flag wrangler (Don) for a great look at the funeral home.

    Today we paid honor to Javier Gonzalez. Was a pretty nice day after the rain, temperature around 80. We had 5 PGR riders and several American Legion riders that joined us for a total of 13 flags in the flag line. Several friends and family members thanked us for paying honors for Mr Gonzalez. Thanks to Max for bringing out the flags and water. And a thanks to all who attended. RIP, Javier Gonzalez.

    The PGR were in Round Rock Texas today to stand up for Chief Petty Officer Michael Thomas Anderson. Mike (as he liked to be called) served in the US Navy for 20 years serving on the USS Kitty Halk and USS Oldendorf as an Intelligence Specialist. He served in Korea, Japan and Hawaii. The family came out and thanks us for standing up for Mike. We had 15 riders show up on a cool start and warmer at the time of the service.

    Fifteen Patriot Guard Riders were in Georgetown, TX to stand in the flag line to honor LTC Maynard Ray Myers. LTC Myers served for 32 years in the US Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam war where he earned the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and various other medals.
    He was a Forward Observer for the artillery and saw action over the whole peninsula. He survived two helicopter crashes, multiple engagements including the Tet Offensive, and was reported missing in action three different times. Members of the family walk the line and thanked all of us.
    He passed away on Veteran’s Day.

    The PGR were in Round Rock, TX today to honor the life and service of Richard Bennett.
    Richard was in the USAF and served 1969-1972 and was discharged as a Sergeant.
    There were 7 PGR members standing the flag line of honor for Richard Bennett at St Phillips United Methodist Church in Round Rock. The weather was pleasant for us. Richard’s wife Jeri came out and thank us from the bottom of her heart for doing this for Her husband.

    The Austin PGR Set up and stood in a flag line for SGM Willie Warren Adam Davis in Buda TX.
    SGM Davis serve in Korea and Vietnam.
    We had 10 PGR members present to show honors for the SGM. There was a first- time rider today.
    The weather was just a normal TEXAS day. Max our flag wrangler did a good job suppling cold drinks.

    The Austin PGR was in Georgetown Texas today (4-24-2021) to stand for Rex Ethan Cloud. The Family called Rex the World’s Greatest Fighter Pilot. He served in Southeast Asia and completer 255 combat sorties in an F-4 Phantom and later he took to the air in the F-16 Fighting Falcon.

    Rex left the Air Force as a Colonel with 4,300 flying hours. Nine PGR members were proud to honor COL Rex Cloud. Rest in peace COL Rex Cloud.

    The Austin Patriot Guard Riders stood in a flag for MSG Charles Edward Lightfoot, Jr. MSG Lightfoot (69) was drafted during the Vietnam war and elected to join the Army. He made it a life-long career and retired as a Master Sergeant in December 2010. He did multiple tours throughout the world during his career. The weather was cold however 8 PGR braved the cold. Charles brother also an Army veteran thank each one of us personally.

    The Patriot Guard Riders were in Burnet, TX to participate in the funeral and interment services for Mr. Richard Sanders. Mr. Sanders served honorably in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. We had 10 PGR members standing in flag lines at the Funeral Home and at the Cemetery. Six motorcycles escorted Mr. Sanders to his final rest. Nickie and her helpers had everything set up when the PGR arrived at the cemetery. Many thanks Nicki.

    The Austin PGR Participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for a new home in Georgetown TX For Army Sergeant Christopher Biggs. There was a procession led by Police, Fire Department and the PGR. We had six motorcycles and two cages with nine standing the flag line. A large crowd gathered For Sergeant Biggs who was wounded during his second tour In Iraq. Biggs was humbled and showed great appreciation for his future home.

    The Austin PGR was in Cedar Park, TX today to honor Mark C. Stevenson. Mark served in the USMC 1975-1976. Mark Stevenson was honorably discharged as a Private.
    We had 12 PGR members stand in the flag line. We also had 6 PGR members escort Mark Stevenson to the cemetery. We had one first timer today. The weather was HOT but we had shade.

    The Austin Patriot Guard served as an escort from Pflugerville, TX to CTSVC for Alejandro (Alex) Sanchez Jr. Alex served in the US Army from 1976-1979 and afterwards served in Army National Guard. He was employed at the DPS as a press operator. His wife Vicki thanked the PGR over and over. There were 6 Big Flag Bikes in the procession and the weather held good.

    The Patriot Guard Riders participated in the funeral services for Charles Edward Goss. Mr. Goss served in the US Marine Corps for three years beginning in 1953 and was deployed to Korea. He continued to serve in the Marine Corps Reserves until 1961. He left the service as a Sergeant. Six PGR went to Cedar Park TX to honor Sergeant Gross. Two of our PGR went into the service with the Marine League and they looked impressive in Their uniforms.

    The Austin PGR stood up for Geno Aquilino, Jr. 64 of Round Rock, Tx. Mr. Aquilino was in the USMC during Vietnam and he left the Corps as a Corporal. Geno then pursued a career with the Buffalo NY. Fire Department for 27 years. During that time He was decorated for bravery several times. We had 8 PGR in the Flag Line. Thanks to all who came for Geno Aquilino.
