Completed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders were in Cedar Park TX Monday April 30-2019 to show honors for Pete A. Martinez. Pete served in the United States Air Force from July 1981 to March 1985. He left USAF as a Senior Airman and passed away at the age of 55. We had 5 PGR members to honor Pete Martinez. This was a two part mission with the second part to escort Pete to (CTSVC) at 12:45. May he rest in peace.May 1, 2019 at 3:00 pm #5320SquibbyModeratorThe rain held off for the second half of this mission. Flag Wrangler Don and myself meet at the funeral home. don posted a flag at the entry into the Funeral home. When the procession started I got in line with the big flags flying while Don, wanting to make sure there were people to stand the line, drove to CTSVC in his gage. The last thing that the wife did before leaving stopped to thank the PG. You could tell that it meant a lot to her. God Bless the family, those who stood the line and those that could not make it.
