August 4, 2013 at 12:22 am in reply to: Austin – EXTREMELY SHORT NOTICE: Dorothy L. Dixon 76, US Army Veteran #4212mototerryModerator
The crew came through on extremely short notice. Had ten on the flag line. Six were also at the earlier mission for Arthur Bergstrom. Thanks to Mary "Marebear" Gregory and CJ "CeeJ" Foy for coming from Killeen on such short notice. Thanks to Steve "Cannonball" von Roeder for coming from Ride Captain duty earlier to Flag Wrangler for this mission!
mototerryModeratorThe PGR provided a flag line of five to honor Mr. Morgan. Thanks to Scott and Colton for accompanying the hearse flying their big flags from Lampasas to the cemetery. Thanks to Mario and Frank for being at the cemetery with me to display three flags for the arrival of the procession. An extra shout out to Frank for also wrangling the flags and providing water. The family was most appreciative…
mototerryModeratorAn excellent turnout of 14 riders, including several that made it in right under the wire from the earlier mission in Elgin. One two-up bike and one cage flying the PGR flag and Old Glory. One first time rider who is also currently serving in the Air Force Reserve. We were especially moved by the overwhelming amount of appreciation shown to each of us by so many of Mr. Fuccello's family members and friends. Thanks also to Flag Wrangler Howard Herring for making a "water run" prior to the flag line. Good Mission!! Thanks!!!
mototerryModeratorThe reporter from KLRU/KUT News provide us with the link to her story.

In Belton we will fall under the direction of CenTex for the duration of all the missions. There is a Saturday mission and a Tuesday mission that I am unable to attend due to prior commitments. The Austin staging for the Saturday and Tuesday missions will be forthcoming.

February 18, 2013 at 11:05 pm in reply to: Confirmed Mission: Donald W. Imboden 81, US Army Veteran #3987mototerryModeratorExcellent turnout to honor Donald Imboden for his service to our country. Twenty-three Patriots on Motorcycles including two cages. Unfortunately our cages got cut off from the procession through no fault of their own. I spoke with Mr. Imboden's son Todd and he asked me to pass along to all of the Patriot Guard Riders his sincere appreciation for what we do.
February 17, 2013 at 11:23 pm in reply to: Confirmed Mission: Donald W. Imboden 81, US Army Veteran #3976mototerryModeratorStaging a little earlier than usual for this mission. The family is receiving visitors in the hour prior to the start of the service at 11:00 a.m. Semper Gumby as we may split the flag line into two groups. 10-10:30 group and 10:30-11 group.
mototerryModeratorFifteen stood in respect for Mr. Garcia honoring him for his service to our country. One member of the VFW who was a personal friend of Mr. Garcia asked to stand in the flag line with us prior to the service. We also welcomed a new member, AJ Scout to the team. I'm proud to pass along the words of appreciation from Paul Williamson, Manager of Weed-Corley-Fish. It is also my honor to pass along from Mrs. Garcia, wife of Mr. Garcia her personal thank you and a wish for God's blessing on all that were there today.

mototerryModeratorSFC Barker is home. Thank you Patriot Guard Riders for the outstanding job each and everyone of you did to made today's mission a success. Thanks as always to PGR Ride Captain Andy "Andyman" Lough for his assistance on the secure side of the fence. Andyman passed along a compliment from ABIA Flight Side Operations about our conduct and cooperation. For that all of you deserve the credit. There were thirty-one PGR riders in procession including two new members and one active duty soldier from Ft. Hood. CenTex PGR had a well attended very impressive flag line in place to honor SFC Barker upon arrival.
