Sorry this is late.
Thanks to the 12 of you that showed up in the heat. The family & others asked me to pass along just how much your presents meant to them. You all are true patriots in what you put yourselves through to honor our fallen heros & families.
Thanks also to Bobby for wrangleing the flags & water.
Thanks so much to everyone.A big big thank you to the 16 patriots including flag wrangler Bobby that showed up today. It was diffiently a Semper Gumby day. Once again we had another 1st time rider who is also in the Air Force Reserves.
Family was very much appreiative of our presents & related how much "Sandy " would have loved it. Due to his wife's situation, a request was made of us to have 2 PGR escort her to her house as it was to difficult for her to attend the grave side service. Thanks to the 2 volunteers.
Again, thanks to all. We do make a difference.
11 riders 2 cages & 14 patriots showed up to honor Msgt Waters & show respect for his family. Thanks to all who gave of their time & resorces to make this mission happen.
I'll really try to make this mission even though it's so very far from my home. Tee Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee My bike won't even be warmed up & I'm there. lol
Will you guys ever stop surprissing me. 10 patriots show this morning in RR even 3-Blue Star Cindy. It was early, cool & dark but you still came even from as far as LaGrange & Kyle. KSU was 7AM w a stop in Waco for gas & another stop just south of FW to stretch & dry off from some rain we went through. We rolled into Cowboy stadium at 10:15. The funeral was a one of a kind & well worth the effort everone made to make this mission.
KSU for home was 3:20 w a stop in Hillsboro. We had cold rain from there to Belton.
I want to thank all of you for being outstanding patriots & helping show the family of Chris the respect & honor he & they deserve.

Thanks to the 12 patriots that came to show honor & respect for Mr. Voudounis. The family was most appreciative. And a special thanks for TC coming such a long way to be our Flag Wrangler.
Those of you that made made the 2nd mission in GT.- Thank You! It was a good day to ride, eat w friends, & stand tall & silent for another of the generation that saved America & the world.After Thur AM mission, I went to the church for Friday's mission. If coming from the North, go to the 45 turn around & head back North. The driveway entranace is emmediately after the 35 on ramp. Drive to the West lower parking lot & start parking at the 1st spot nearest 35.
Route to the cemetary is expected to be ( L on Onion Creek Pwk, drive to dead end & turn R, over to FM. We will turn L to SA Rd. (1 block), Turn L on SA rd. to Right on Twin Creek. Cemetary in 1/4 mile down on the R. It's only about 3 miles total.If we are done in time, those that want, can ride to GT for that mission. Based on today's mission, I feel we will have time.
Even though it was a week day & another mission occured at the same time, we had 11 PGR turn out to honor this veteran. Thank you all so much. The family really really appreciated our being there.
Sorry for the delay in my AAR but better late than never.
Turn out was less than expected based on last years turn out but the 11 patriots that did show up looked amazing. We broke the line down shortly after the start & right before the speeches. We retired to the pavilian to sit & watch the remaining program which included a fly over by the Commemorative Airforce. Steve, the organizer sent me an e-mail to let us all know the flag line was the perfect extra special touch.Thanks to all that showed up.
What a nice turn out for Mr Robertson down in San Marcos. 14 PGR showed up & stood the flag line in front of the funeral home. The family was soooooo very very appreciative that we came out to show honor & respect.
As it turned out, the rain gave us a break & we did not get wet. NOT TO MENTION THE LARGE OVERHANG WE STOOD UNDER.
Thanks to all of you for stepping up.
Read my sig, It says alot about what you & all PGR do.What a great turn out for a week day. 17 bikes escorted LTC Rose from Austin to Ft Sam where we were met by another dozzen or so SA riders that had been on a KIA mission that morning. We arrived early and the family took the time to talk to all of us & take pictures of them with us & flags as a back drop. The family expressed how so very graphful they were that we took the time to honor LTC Rose like we did.
You do make a difference. You are special. Thank you all for serving our heros in such a special way.Another great turn out today to honor another fallen hero. I want to sincerly thank all of you for the giving of your time & Saturday to help this family get through a very tuff time. We had 30 bikes & 2 cages. The family & friends were so very appreciative of our being there to honor Krystal & show our respect. Krystal's mother told us how her family at first did not understand her wanting to ride in the procession Fri. but after seeing all the riders & flags, they had all changed their mind & were really glad everyone showed up.
A special thanks to the water wranglers. You were really needed today.We had 9 PGR at the service for this veteran hero. The family couldn't thank us enough. In talking to his son, I found out that his dad died of cancer probably from agent orange. Thanks to all who came out, some of whom came to both Fri missions. Thanks to Bobby for bringing the flags & cold water.
AFTER MISSION REPORT;
Today was one of those missions that exemplfies the importance of what we do. The family, lots of vets, was so graphful that we were there to help them honor Mr Hardin.
A special thanks to Frank (scotter) for securing the elastic ban that secures the flag on the casket for the ride to the cemetery. Mr. Hardin was to go to his final resting place in the bed of his p/u but w/o a tie down , the flag would have had to be removed. When I informed Miss Ruby, ( Mr. Hardin's sister) that the PGR had that taken care of, she gave me the biggest most amazing hug you can imagin. It was a very emotional moment.
2nd story. Smithville honor guard was not able to attend due to sickness so the family called Quantico Marine Base & was informed that Camp Mabry Marine Reserve unit would be sent only to be notified they too could not make it. They again contacted Quantico & the Marines there told her not to worry, that they would send 4 Marines from there to render proper honers. Talk about a show of respect.
Two family members asked to double up with us to show their respect & we complied. It was a ride I'm sure they will not forget as every single approching car pulled over as we rode by. As the 5 flag bikes entered the cemetery, the rest of the PGR had lined the road with their bikes & 10' flags. Quite impressive. At the conclusion of the service, the family walked the line & hugged & thanked us. They were (ARE) so very great.
I have been truly blessed to have had the privillage of RC'ing this mission. Thanks to all riders & flag wrangler Bobby for helping this family during there time of need. You have done good loyal & faithfully servants. GOD BLESS OUR VETS & OTHER PATRIOTS.
