Resent-From:
Subject: [missions@centexpgr.org] CHANGE: CPO Christopher Scott "Chris" Kyle, US Navy Special WarfareI just got a call from my North Texas POC…
CHANGE 1, Per family wishes: There will be NO refueling stop in Waco. Law enforcement is going to slow down the procession in the area of the Flying J to allow riders already staged there to do a “rolling insertion” under the direction of CenTex Ride Captains & Law Enforcement at the I-35 entrance ramp south of the Flying J.
There are no changes to the Waco staging time and location as of yet. Just be there topped off, on time and ready to roll!
Status of the flagline establishment in Waco is up in the air right now. You may wish to simply occupy a location on an overpass or side the freeway along the I-35 route to Austin. SAFELY!
Please keep an eye on our website for possible updates: http://www.CenTexPGR.org
Remember, this is about honoring this Warrior and respecting his families’ wishes.
Semper Gumby!
Thanks for understanding,
Mare

CHANGE 2: CenTex Addendum to North TX Mission
CPO Christopher Scott "Chris" Kyle, US Navy Special WarfareCHANGE 2:
I have been notified by our State Captain that there will be NO ROLLING INSERTION in Waco because of SAFETY CONCERNS.
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROCESSION: If you have a bike that will make it from Midlothian to Austin WITHOUT REFUELING, then see the North Texas Website for staging instructions in Midlothian. DO NOT come to Waco thinking you will join the procession.
TO RIDE WITH A GROUP FROM WACO TO AUSTIN AHEAD (Way Ahead) OF THE PROCESSION: Follow the staging instructions below. North Texas will be leading a group of riders to Austin way ahead of the procession.
If you wish to attend/help with the Interment in Austin, see their website.
The flagline in Waco at the Flying J is a STAND DOWN. Please feel free to line I-35 & the overpasses all the way down to Austin. My guess is as good as yours as to when they will pass each overpass. HINT: KSU from Midlothian is 0800 and they will be traveling approximately 50 mph. I am horrible at math, so please don’t ask me to calculate what time they will pass different areas… please.
AGAIN, Thank you for your understanding. This change was made purely in the interest of our riders' SAFETY.

February 12, 2013 at 2:24 am #3970keithlongacreModeratorWill you guys ever stop surprissing me. 10 patriots show this morning in RR even 3-Blue Star Cindy. It was early, cool & dark but you still came even from as far as LaGrange & Kyle. KSU was 7AM w a stop in Waco for gas & another stop just south of FW to stretch & dry off from some rain we went through. We rolled into Cowboy stadium at 10:15. The funeral was a one of a kind & well worth the effort everone made to make this mission.
KSU for home was 3:20 w a stop in Hillsboro. We had cold rain from there to Belton.
I want to thank all of you for being outstanding patriots & helping show the family of Chris the respect & honor he & they deserve.
Please e-mail me(keithlongacre@att.net) so I can be sure of your names & to confirm your safe arrival home. Again, Thank you so much.February 12, 2013 at 2:51 am #3971markwellsKeymasterTo all of you that went to Dallas today, you rock. Thanks for the auspgr showing. Keith, thanks for being the RC. I know the weather sucked.
I wish I could have made the trip.
HadleytFebruary 12, 2013 at 12:11 pm #3972markwellsKeymasterI'm in New Mexico this week and can't attend the mission. You all make me proud to wear the PGR patch and to call myself a Patriot Guard Rider. I'll be there with you in spirit. Stand tall and proud. God Bless You – God Bless America.
February 12, 2013 at 11:21 pm #3973markwellsKeymasterWhat a turn out to honor the Kyle family today. In spite of the fog, mist, and rain we counted 318 bikes and some were doubled up. North Texas, Centex, San Antonio, and Austin Regions joined with riders from all over, including other states, to see that the Red, White, and Blue was flying briskly in the breeze.
Thanks to all Ride Captains who stepped up to assist at the cemetery, and to APD for setting up our parking areas and keeping us out of traffic.
Special thanks to CJ and Dave from Centex, Charles, Bubbles and Arturo from San Antonio, and Bob Binkley from Austin for bringing enough flags and water to cover the mission.
We hope everyone got home safely, and thank you for standing in honor of this hero.
Robert Stancil
