    Confirmed Mission:
    The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Chris Kyle 38, to participate in the graveside service of their loved one. Chris served in the U.S. Navy and was a Navy Seal. He served five tours in Iraq earning numerous awards including 2 Silver Stars and 5 Bronze Stars. He left the Navy having earned the rank of Chief Petty Officer.

    Date/Time: Tuesday, February 12th, 2013 1:00pm – 2:00pm

    Location: Texas State Cemetery, Austin Texas

    Directions: We will stage at the old Safeway parking lot, located on the north bound IH35 frontage road between 11th and 12th street. Map link:

    Timeline:
    11:45am – 12:15pm Staging
    12:15pm – Mission/Safety Briefing
    Move to cemetery at RC discretion (short ride)

    WX: Partly Cloudy, high – 70 Lo -50 , 20% chance of rain (KVUE WX)

    Notes: Please arrive on time and fed, fueled, and hydrated. Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. We will set up a flag line, and await the arrival of the procession from north Texas. The arriving PGR members from the Dallas area will join us on the flag line for the interment service. Remember Semper Gumby, as times can change.

    I apologize for my constant comments, but I am a bit bewildered by this. I was under the impression that the PGR was going to be attending the memorial service for Chris in Arlington. Is that not the case?

    Ok, frank said post it here. If anyone wants to ride to Waco to meet ntxpgr and escort chief Kyle, I plan on heading that way. Lets meet somewhere common. I live in Elgin and can meet anywhere.

    I am riding up to Midlotian on Monday afternoon and staying the night, then joining the North Texas PGR for the escort to Austin.

    Services for Chris Kyle will be Monday Feb 11th, 2013 at Cowboy
    Stadium in Dallas. There will be a staging here in Austin for riders that want
    to ride up for the services.

    Staging Info:

    Location: McDonalds at the corner of IH 35 north bound frontage and
    Old Settlers Blvd. It is just south of the Harley Shop.

    Time: 6:30am – 6:45am (be earlier if you want to eat prior to
    departure).

    Safety Brief: 6:45am

    KSU: 7:00am

    Notes: Arrive at McDonalds with a full tank of gas. We will stop in

    Here is a link letting us know what will be taking place & where. If any of you want to stay overnight for the procession on Tue. you might want to call ahead for a room. Tue departure is in Midlothian around 8 AM.

    Some of us are meeting at the RR outlet mall around 0700 -0730 on tues to head to Waco and join the procession
