18 bikes showed up for the ground breaking ceremonies in Santa Rita Ranch for Spc. Detuccio. Only screw-up was a last minute decision by the Ride Captain to not park where intended which made us a little late for the flag line, but no big harm was done. The Patriot Guard Riders were all invited to an after action reception at the visitors center, which some of us attended. Food was good and plentiful.

November 8, 2016 at 6:10 pm in reply to: LTC Cassius Mullen (ret), 78, US Army/Vietnam veteran, Georgetown, TX, 07 NOV 2016 #4857The GhostModerator7 PGR members arrived at the funeral home and manned the flag line. Family was very appreciative. When I left after the flag line was over, Terry and Paige were going to accompany the hearse to CTSVC, but it started to pour down rain so I don't know if they went to Killeen or not. I personally would have opted NOT.
The GhostModeratorTerrific Mission, about 25 riders. ~ half Sun City Guys and Gals and the rest seasoned PGR riders from Aus and Centex showed up to escort 2 busses full of Fort Hood Soldiers to SC. We made a great impression and raised awareness of our prime mission. Thanks to all that had a hand in this activity.

Johnson, 90, US Navy WWII veteran, Elgin, TX, 11 APR 2016 #4781The GhostModerator11 bikes and 1 flag vehicle at the church, 2 additional PGR at cemetery. Good mission; got a little damp for a short period of time on way to Austin, more of an annoyance than anything else. Family was very appreciative of PGR presence.
March 5, 2016 at 1:45 pm in reply to: Glenn Bud Simmons, 85, USAF veteran, Georgetown, TX, 03 MAR 2016 #4772The GhostModerator8 bikes, 2 cages, 7 state police cars combined to make a good mission. Not without drama though; one flag bearer (89) tripped and fell and another's bike completely died. Whole immediate family of deceased came out and shook everyones hand before the service started. Awesome!

A friend rode SGT Emran's trike in the procession. Family was extremely grateful for PGR involvement. It was great to see Dick Ward again. Good job by the LEOs.
The GhostModerator3 Austin PGR, 1 Centex PGR and 3 Christian Motorcycle club riders attended the misson to honor Mr. Schaefer/ Family was very appreciative.
The GhostModeratorInteresting mission, turned out to be close to the Hatfields and McCoys but we had a dozen plus Patriots show up to honor this active duty Sailor. Thanks for all who showed up and especially for those that stayed during the troubles. I don't know if the family appreciated your commitment, but I sure did.
Russ MillerThe GhostModeratorFive hardy motorcycle Patriots + one flag truck patriot paid honors to Mr. Castillo despite the threat of rain. Think we had the whole Travis County Constable department escorting the procession. They did a very nice job. Thanks for those that took a chance on the weather.
