Confirmed Mission: The family of Stanley William Johnson has invited the PGR to participate in his funeral and interment services. Mr. Johnson served his country in the US Navy during WWII, enlisting at age 17. He was stationed aboard the USS Talladega, APA 208, during the invasion of Iwo Jima and participated in every major island battle as Allied forces crossed the Pacific to Japan. He earned 2 Bronze stars and many awards for meritorious service. After the war he founded Stan's Heating and Air Conditioning in Austin. Mr. Johnson passed away on his 90th birthday.
