13 Patriot Guard Riders comprised the flag line in honor of WWII Veteran Simmons. The daughter of Mr. Simmons stopped and thanked us for what we do, not only for her father, but other veterans as well. Her brother offered thanks also. Thanks for all that came today, good turnout.

We were acknowledged by the family and thanked for what we do by two Georgetown Police Lieutenants who were at the funeral home for a fallen fellow officer. Don placed additional flags which enhanced the visuals. Thanks to those who attended.

Flag line was neat and orderly and thankfully in the shade. It was great to see former Ride Captain Terry Ayers at a mission again. Flag Wrangler Don did an excellent job on flag placement. The family was very appreciative that we were there. Thanks to all who attended the mission.

Mr. Ferris’s daughter took time from her other responsibility’s to come over to our staging area to thank us for being there to honor her father. Thanks to all who attended and as usual, Don did an excellent job with the flags.

It was also satisfying that friends and members of his classic car club brought Mr. Botkins car to the service. Thanks to all who attended and especially to those that rode their bikes in iffy weather.

The funeral director did inform me that LEO had been obtained. About ten American Legion Riders showed up for a service ceremony and escort to FT. Sam Houston.

Mission was a little disorganized due to a change in venue but it was worked out in time for a impressive flag line.

Bobinski"s service even though the members of the flag line stood in the rain. We had two new members attend, thank you gentlemen. I sent 3 of the PGR members home due to their health conditions and the prospect of them having to stand in the cold rain. Good mission people, thanks to all who attended and a special thanks to Don, who makes the missions easy.

Their were also in attendance a contingent of approximately 20-25 Army personnel from Fort Carson, Colorado, led by a full Bird Colonel. He and his aides walked over to our staging area to thank us for being there to honor this young man. Flag line was somewhat longer in duration due to the family arriving late. All in all, a good mission.

Mrs. Collins, A1C Collin's widow came over to the staging area to thank the PGR for being there. The second half of the mission consisted of 8 PGR members in a flag line at the cemetery. Thanks to those that stood their second mission of the day.

Major Storms sons and sister plus many other attendees expressed their appreciation for us being there. Thank you all that attended.
