    Confirmed mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service for LTC Cassius "Cash" Mullen. LTC Mullen graduated from West Point in 1959 and served in various locations around the globe, including Korea, Hawaii and a combat tour in the Republic of Vietnam from 1966 to 1967.     Date/Time: Monday, 07 November 2016. Funeral service scheduled for 11 am.

    Location: Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78633. We will stage at the funeral home.

    Timeline:
    9:45 am – 10:15 am Staging
    10:15 am – Briefing
    10:30 am – Flag line

    Wx: Hi 75 deg, 80% rain chance

    Notes: Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Rain gear recommended. Be aware that a visitation will occur the same day 9 – 10 am at the funeral home, and family and friends will be coming and going during our staging period.

    Following the funeral service there will be a procession from the funeral home to the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen for a scheduled 1 pm burial service. As there will NOT be law enforcement escort for the procession, the ride captain will chose 2 – 4 big flag bikes to accompany the procession, weather permitting. If it is raining PGR motorcycles will not accompany the procession.

    7 PGR members arrived at the funeral home and manned the flag line. Family was very appreciative. When I left after the flag line was over, Terry and Paige were going to accompany the hearse to CTSVC, but it started to pour down rain so I don't know if they went to Killeen or not. I personally would have opted NOT.
