13 Patriot Guard members attended the flag line in honor of young PFC Woodhouse. Their were also in attendance a contingent of approximately 20-25 Army personnel from Fort Carson, Colorado, led by a full Bird Colonel. He and his aides walked over to our staging area to thank us for being there to honor this young man. Flag line was somewhat longer in duration due to the family arriving late. All in all, a good mission.

The first part of the mission for A1C Collins consisted of 5 Patriots who stood in a flag line prior to the church service. Mrs. Collins, A1C Collin's widow came over to the staging area to thank the PGR for being there. The second half of the mission consisted of 8 PGR members in a flag line at the cemetery. Thanks to those that stood their second mission of the day.
    Thanks to all who attended.

Ten bikes and three cages equated to thirteen patriots honoring Major Storms after sixty-nine years missing in action. Major Storms sons and sister plus many other attendees expressed their appreciation for us being there. Thank you all that attended.

8 early birds arrived to honor SSG Germick and with the flags Don placed beforehand, made a terrific statement. It was sad to see the young family arrive but she had plenty of support.

Seven bikes and five cages carried a total of twelve Patriot Guard Members (including a new member, Chuck) to honor Cpl Brown at his memorial service. Cpl Brown"s mother, although distraught, came to where we were staging to thank us personally for being there for her son. Don arrived early and did a great job on the flags. Thanks to all who braved another record heat day to attend.

Six bikes and thirteen Patriots attended the mission for LCpl Martinsen. Because of the funeral home layout, we posted flags at two entrances. Service was well attended, with standing room only in the chapel and as expected, mostly young people. When the service started, we silently departed.

Three bikes and two cages, for a total of 5 hearty temperature ignorers stood the flag line for SGT Pickrel. Don placed several flags in strategic places so the effect was pretty good even with a small number of Patriots in attendance. The family expressed their appreciation several times. Thanks to those who braved yet another day of 100 degree heat.

7 Bikes, 2 cages & a flag truck equaled 11 Patriots manning a flag line in honor of Lt. Greaves. Family was very appreciative that we honored their loved one.

5 Patriot Guard + 4 Combat Veterans Association were in attendance for SGT Slagle's service. At the last minute, the family and funeral home made arrangements for a LEO escort to CTMVC. Because none of the PGR had planned on escorting SGT Slagle, the CVM were there (including SGT Slagle's son) to do the honors. Thanks to those that braved Austin traffic to attend the mission.

A friendly reminder if planning on attending the flag line for SFC Slagle on Camp Mabry; military installations require motorcycle riders to wear a helmet, gloves, long sleeves and long pants and I think over the ankle boots. Unless things have changed very recently, unless you are wearing the above mentioned gear, you will not be allowed entry.

Eight members attended the flag line for SGT. Carrizales despite blazing heat, 3 riders and the remainder in cages. A nephew approached us before the briefing and expressed his family's appreciation for us being there. The flags Don placed before the ceremony with the flag line in the portico made a great showing.

10 bikes, 2 cages and 13 caring people stood in honor of CPL Corzan in Kyle. One of our members was asked to read a scripture during the service and the Commander of the AMVETS for Central Texas volunteered to take his place on the flag line. Two PGR riders who are friends of the family will escort the family to SA. Had one new rider attend the mission. Nikki and Soup did a great job with the flags, thanks. The family wanted all to know how much they appreciated the flag line and the PGR.

Five bikes and two cages attend the service for Mr. Miller. At the cemetery, the PGR folded the flag and presented it to Mr. Miller's daughter. The flag wasn"t perfectly folded but it was as good as most. My sincere thanks to Don who went beyond routine with the flags.

Ten weather immune patriots made an impressive flag line for PFC Snook. The Snook family was appreciative that we were there. Thanks to all that showed up in some very iffy weather.

Staging update: If you are planning on attending PFC Snook's flag line, the staging location follows: Heading East on Hwy 29 (University Ave), turn right on Ash St. Immediately on your left you will see the church's activity center then it's parking lot. We have permission from the church to stage at the far East end of the activity center's parking lot. Thank you.
