    Short Notice Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral and burial services for Mr. David Germick. Mr. Germick entered the Army in 2005 and served 11 years. He deployed multiple times to Iraq and Afghanistan and earned a long list of commendations and awards. He left the service as a Staff Sergeant.

    Date/Time: Thursday, 17 October 2019. Funeral service to begin at 8 am.

    Location: Beck Funeral Home, 15709 Ranch Rd 620 N., Austin. Texas 78717. We will stage at the funeral home.

    Timeline:
    6:50 – 7:20 am Staging
    7:20 am – Briefing
    7:30 am – Flag Line

    Wx: Hi 75 deg, partly cloudy

    Notes: This is a flag line only at the funeral home. Following the start of the service we will strike the flag line and depart quietly. Interment service is scheduled for 10 am the same day at CTSVC in Killeen. Centex PGR will be present for that portion. There is no LEO escorted procession planned but 2 – 4 big flag bikes are invited to accompany the procession to Killeen.

    8 early birds arrived to honor SSG Germick and with the flags Don placed beforehand, made a terrific statement. It was sad to see the young family arrive but she had plenty of support.
