Confirmed mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service for Specialist Ethan Carey Brown. Specialist Brown served in the US Army and was stationed at Ft Benning, GA. We participated in his return to Texas on Friday 04 Oct.

Date/Time: Sunday, 06 October 2019. Funeral service at 2 pm.

Location: Beck Funeral Home, 1700 E. Whitestone Blvd. Cedar Park, TX 78613. We will stage at the funeral home.

Wx: High 95 F deg, mostly sunny.

Notes: Bring water for yourself and a friend. Be advised that a visitation is taking place prior to the funeral service. Friends and family will be arriving during our staging period. This is a flag line only at the funeral home. After the start of the service we will strike the flag line and depart quietly.

Seven bikes and five cages carried a total of twelve Patriot Guard Members (including a new member, Chuck) to honor Cpl Brown at his memorial service. Cpl Brown"s mother, although distraught, came to where we were staging to thank us personally for being there for her son. Don arrived early and did a great job on the flags. Thanks to all who braved another record heat day to attend.
