Confirmed mission: The Tunnel to Towers Foundation will donate a mortgage-free Smart Home to catastrophically injured US Army veteran SPC Maggie Mae Bilyeu. The PGR has been invited to participate.
In early 2016, only a couple of months into her deployment to Afghanistan, Maggie was struck by a suicide bomber, leaving her critically injured, and killing two American soldiers and two American contractors. Maggie is an amputee and sustained multiple shrapnel wounds to her chest and torso, a broken leg, and numerous internal injuries as a result of the blast.

December 19, 2022 at 2:11 pm #6661WlongacreModeratorThe Austin PGR were in Lago Vista, TX today to escort SPC Maggie Mae Bilyeu to her new home. Maggie was struck by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan, leaving her critically injured. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation gave Maggie a new mortgage free home. Three PGR (David, Keith and Warren) braved the weather. It was cold with lots of rain. We got to meet Maggie (what a special person) she is.
