    At the invitation of Operation Finally Home, a charitable organization which provides custom-built, mortgage-free homes to America’s wounded military heroes and the widows of the fallen, the Patriot Guard Riders will participate in the presentation of a new home in Liberty Hill for US Army SGT Aaron Cabrera.  We attended the ground-breaking ceremony for this home back in May.

    Date/Time: Thursday, 22 December 2022.  Presentation ceremony begins at 10:00 am at the homesite at the Santa Rita Ranch subdivision located north of Hwy 29, east of Ronald Reagan Blvd..

    Staging Location: Santa Rita Ranch Community Center, 175 Elizabeth Park Blvd, Liberty Hill, TX 78642.

    9:00 am – 9:30 am Staging
    9:30 am briefing
    KSU for the short ride to the home site at the direction of the ride captain.

    Wx: Sunny. High 58F.  Approx. 50 deg at beginning of staging.  Mission will be complete before the forecasted cold and windy conditions arrive.

    Notes: Fly your big flags! Upon our arrival at the staging location we will have a chance to visit with the SGT Cabrera. We will then accompany him on a short procession to the home site where we will quickly dismount and form a flag line for the home presentation ceremony.


    Wow, what a COOL event. tee hee. With temps starting out in the 40’s, it warmed up to low 50’s, then half way through the presentation, the front came in like a freight train & temps dropped like a rock with winds to match. The 4 of us were still very glad we came to assist in honoring this hero. SGT Aaron Cabrera, welcome home soldier.


    BTW How great it was to see an old friend & PGR member that had moved to IOWA but is here for the winter. Welcome back Mr. Kelly Rowe. Hope we see U again.
