    At the invitation of Operation Finally Home, a charitable organization which provides custom-built, mortgage-free homes to America’s wounded military heroes and the widows of the fallen, the Patriot Guard Riders will participate in a ground breaking for a new home in Elgin for US Army SGT Jason Castille.

    Date/Time: Wednesday, 10 January 2018. Groundbreaking ceremony begins at 10:00 am at the homesite at the Saratoga Farms subdivision, located south of Hwy 290 at 95 in Elgin, TX.

    Staging Location: Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, 604 TX-95, Elgin, TX 78621.

    9:15 am – 9:45 am Staging
    9:45 am briefing
    9:55 am KSU to the home site, a short 3 min ride south on Hwy 95

    Notes: Fly your big flags! Upon our arrival at the staging location we will have a chance to visit with the Sgt Castille and his family. We will then accompany him and his family in a short law enforcement escorted procession to the home site where we will quickly dismount and form a flag line for the 30 min ground breaking ceremony.

    What a great event. Hundreds of folks with great big hearts were in attendance at today's ground breaking ceremony for Sgt Castille & his family. Sgt Castille spoke to all 14 of us from the PGR. We learned that not only had he served for 5 years in the Army, he served for 8 years before that in the United States Marine Corps.
    Welcome home Sir, and thank you for your service. It was a tremendous honor to stand for you & your family today. We will see you when your new home is dedicated.

What a great day it was, and we were honored that the PGR, once again, helped us start another project.
