8:30 – 8:50 am – Staging
8:50 am – Briefing
9:00 – 9:35 am – Flag line
Wx: 72 deg hi, sunny
Notes: We will stand the flag line prior to the start of the rosary portion. Mr Alston will be brought into the church during this time. After the start of the rosary service we will strike the flag line and stand by to join the LEO escorted procession to the Luling City Cemetery, an approximately 40 mile ride where we will have a flag line for the interment ceremony.
11 Patriot Guard riders attended the honors for SGT Alston at the church in Buda, 2 cages, 9 bikes. 6 of the riders chose to join the procession to the Luling cemetery. The family was very appreciative that we attended and the funeral director suggested a slight change in the flag line-up that worked very well. Thanks to all who took precious time to attend and as always, a special thanks to our Flag Wranglers.
