    Confirmed Mission

    The family of Mr. Wilbert Weise has invited the PGR to participate in his funeral and interment services. Mr. Weise served in the US Air Force 1948-1952, leaving the service with the rank of A1C.

    Date/Time: Wednesday, 28 September 2011. Funeral scheduled for 10:00 am.

    Location: St. Paul Lutheran Church, 101 North 3rd Street, Thorndale, TX. Burial to follow at the adjacent St Paul cemetery. Church map link: tinyurl.com/StPaulThorndale

    Austin Staging Location:

    Timeline:
    8:00 – 8:25 am staging
    8:30 am briefing
    8:40 am KSU for approx. 30 min ride to Thorndale.

    Wx: Partly cloudy, low 70, high 95, 20% chance of thunderstorms.

    Notes: Please arrive fed, fueled, and hydrated. We will form a flag line upon arrival at the church in Thorndale. Following the funeral we will also form a flag line for the interment service at the St. Paul Lutheran cemetery.

    Seven bikes and two cages for today's mission. Thank you to those who rode out to Thorndale today for Mr. Weise, or "Uti" as he was known to his friends and family, of which there was great number in attendance.

    Nice and cool on the way out, a little warmer on the way back. Thank you Robert for bringing the flags and water today.

    "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever". RIP, Uti.
