July 2, 2010 at 10:18 pm #2751keithlongacreModeratorFYI! I attend St Philip's UMC right across the street from this event. If any of U want to go to church & to the welcome home, I extend an invite for U to be our guest.
Our traditional service is at 8:15 in the chapel with a contemporary service at 9:30 in the FLC (family life center). I will be riding my big flag bike to the church so I can go right over after I get out of SS. And Yes, I will be wearing my gear & patriotic shirt.
Hope to see U there. PS I also plan on eating breakfast with the boy scouts.July 3, 2010 at 12:46 pm #2752markwellsKeymasterI WILL BE GOING TO ABIA TO ESCORT FROM THERE TO FINAL

cannonballJuly 4, 2010 at 6:18 pm #2757markwellsKeymasterMan, this was great. We handed out all 60 flags to folks from the neighborhood who were on hand for pancakes and to welcome home SPC Huckstep. They lined both sides of Great Oaks in front of the fire station. It was wonderful to see people of all ages standing with our flags, especially on the 4th of July.
Great job, Steve, ya'll looked good coming up the street behind the fire truck. Here's wishing this young soldier a fun time on his well earned leave at home.
