    The family of Mr. Warren Proctor, 91, has requested the Patriot Guard Riders attend his funeral in honor of his military service to our country. Mr. Proctor served as a Chief Petty Officer aboard the USS Lowndes which saw service in the battles of Iowa Jima and Okinawa.

    Date/Time: Wednesday, 04 November 2009. Funeral service scheduled for 1600 hrs (4:00 pm)

    Location: Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH-35, Georgetown, TX. We will stage at the funeral home.

    Directions: Gabriels is located on the southbound frontage road of IH35. If traveling north on IH35, take exit 264, cross over to southbound side. Funeral home is located immediately north of the La Quinta hotel. Map link: tinyurl.com/yh5allp

    Timeline:
    1500 – 1520 staging (3:00-3:20 pm)
    1520 briefing
    1530 flag line in place.

    Wx: Clear, Lo 54, high 78. Please bring your own drinking water.

    Notes:
    Please arrive fed, fueled, and hydrated. At the conclusion of the funeral service we will join the procession to Lawler Cemetery near Florence, approx. 22 mi, where we will establish a flag line for the interment service.

    A thank you note was received at Gabriels Funeral Home from the family of Warren Proctor. It was sent to you in thanks for what you did for their family. It reads:

    Dear Patriots,
    Thank you so much for participating in our Dad's funeral service. It was beautiful and Dad would have loved it. We are a patriotic family and louve our country as we know that you do.
