Riders,
The Wall that Heals, a traveling replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, DC, will be making its only Texas stop in Taylor, TX, on Wednesday, 24 March. The organizers of this display have invited the PGR to participate in a procession of the Wall into town. We are also invited stick around and help set it up after arrival.
The memorial display will be open to the public from Thursday, 25 March to Sunday, 28 March. A special event is planned for that Saturday evening, 7 pm, which will include a candlelight service and aircraft flyover during the National Anthem. The display will be located at the SW corner of Main and Mallard, just east of St. Johns Community Hospital. Map link: tinyurl.com/MemorialWall
