Timothy Pat Pugh, 73, USMC/Vietnam veteran, Bastrop, TX, 22 JAN 2022

Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service for Timothy Pat Pugh.  Mr Pugh served three years in the U.S. Marine Corps, enlisting after high school.  He was deployed to Vietnam and became a combat radio operator as part of the 1st Battalion 9th Marines. He rose to the rank of Sergeant.

Date/Time: Saturday, 22 January 2022. Funeral service begins at 1 pm.

Location: Calvary Episcopal Church, 603 Spring St,, Bastrop, TX 78602. We will stage at the church.

It was a perfect cool and sunny Texas winter day to honor Mr. Timothy “Pat” Pugh. Among the twelve PGR who stood the flag line today was a first time rider, Robert, from Bastrop. We also welcomed Howard and Teresa, two PGR who recently relocated to Bastrop from the Spokane, WA area.

Thanks to Max for bringing the flags to honor his fellow Marine.

Mrs. Pugh walked our flag line thanking us for honoring her husband. It was our privilege to be there.

RIP, SGT Pugh. May God’s comfort be upon the family and friends you left behind.
