    Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral and interment services of Mr. Thomas Johnson. Mr. Johnson served in the US Navy and Naval Reserve from 1966 to 1972, including service in Vietnam. He left the Navy as a Petty Officer Third Class.

    Date/Time: Thursday, 27 June 2019. Funeral service to begin at 10:00 am.

    Location: Faith Lutheran Church, 4010 Williams Dr, Georgetown, TX 78628. We will stage at the church.

    Timeline:
    8:50 – 9:20 am – Staging
    9:20 am – Briefing
    9:30 am – Flag Line

    Wx: Hi 93 deg, mostly sunny

    Notes: Bring water for yourself and a friend. After the start of the funeral service we will strike the flag line and depart quietly. Interment is scheduled for 2 pm the same day at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Centex PGR will be present.

    It was a central Texas summer day honoring Mr. Johnson with the occasional cloud providing some relief for the 11 patriots in today's flag line. Turns out besides being a Navy vet, Mr. Johnson rode with Centex PGR in years past.

    Thanks again to Don for handling the flags and providing water. We fulfilled our mission to honor Mr. Johnson's service to our nation.
