Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in a "Help on the Home Front" mission honoring active duty soldiers from Ft Hood. 108 soldiers will travel by bus to Sun City to be honored for their service with lunch, a round of golf and dinner.

This mission is a law enforcement escorted procession from the D. Boones Country Store and Cafe in Florence to the Sun City White Wing Golf Course.

Notes: Please arrive fed, fueled, and hydrated. Fly your big flags! This is a short 18 min LEO escorted ride down 195 to Sun City Blvd to the golf club facility. You're invited to visit with the soldiers at the conclusion of the procession.

I want to thank all the Patriot Guard members, both from Centex and Austin that were there for the bus escort for the Fort Hood troops. Along with Austin and Centex PGR were members of the Sun City Cruisers Motorcycle club for a total of 27 bikes. You guys far exceed my expectations and I sincerely thank you. All the comments I have received from SC residents was that we made an awesome showing.
