    Confirmed Mission: The family of SPC Edwin Carbajal has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his funeral and interment service. SPC Carbajal lost his life in a car accident this past weekend. He was stationed at the TX Army National Guard armory in San Marcos. He served four years in the Guard.

    Date/Time: Friday, 15 July 2016, Service begins at 10:0 0am

    Location: Ascension Catholic Church, 806 Pine St, Bastrop, TX 78602. We will stage at the church.

    Timeline:
    8:45 am – 9:15 am Staging
    9:15 am – Mission Briefing with Flag Line to follow

    Wx: Hi 100, partly cloudy

    Notes: Arrive fed, fueled, and hydrated. Bring TWO bottles of water for yourself and one for a friend. Be advised that a visitation is occurring between 9 and 10 am at the church. Friends and family members will be arriving during our staging and briefing period. At the conclusion of the funeral mass there will be an LEO escorted procession to Fairview Cemetery, 1409 Hwy 95 North, Bastrop, TX where we will establish a second flag line for the interment service.

    Eight Patriot Guard Riders including one cage and flag wrangler Don Ferguson stood the flag line to honor SPC Edwin Carbajal. Three addition biikes ridden by friends and family of SPC Carbajal joined in the PGR procession to the cemetary. Many attendees were Texas National Guard soldiers including a Brigadier General who served with SPC Carbajal. Thanks to those in attendance.
