    Short Notice

Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the interment service for Mr. Ray Buvia. Mr. Buvia served in the US Navy from 1975 to 1981, leaving the service as a Petty Officer Third Class.

More about his life can be read here: https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/statesman/obituary.aspx?n=rouault-buvia-ray&pid=190813985&fhid=11747

Date/Time: Monday, 26 November 2018. See below for time line.

This mission is an accompaniment in a law enforcement escorted procession from King Tears Mortuary in Austin to the Austin Memorial Park cemetery and a flag line at the cemetery for the interment service.

The interment service is at the same location and roughly at the same time as the earlier published Yancey mission. We are therefore combining these two mission into one effort. There is not a separate staging for this mission.

Staging Location: Same as Yancey mission. See details pgr.fojit.com/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=1508.

    Timeline:
    See Yancey mission info.

Wx: Hi 56 deg, partly cloudy.

Notes: At the conclusion of the flag line at they Yancey funeral the RC will designate some big flag riders to proceed to King Tears to participate in the procession to the cemetery. Riders already at the cemetery for the Yancey mission will form a second burial site flag line for the Buvia service. Timing suggest the two flag lines will overlap.

    Ride Captains: Keith Longacre, keithlongacre@att.net, (512) 751-8955
Asst RC's: Terry Ayers, Warren Longacre
    Flag Wrangler: Nicki Campbell

Overlapping missions required some "Semper Gumby" (always flexible). Terry Ayers & Soup Campbell rode their Big Flag bikes in the procession from the FH to the cemetery to honor US Navy Veteran Rouault "Ray" Buvia. At the cemetery, they joined the flag line to further show honor & respect. They were joined by more PGR members from another interment service that just ended totaling 15 standing with respect for our fallen veteran.
Special thanks to Niki & Warren for organizing the flag lines of both interments. Super job done by all. Thank you fellow Patriots.
