    Confirmed Mission : Marvin Rathke – Short Notice
     
    The family of Marvin Rathke, 84, CPL, USMC, 1945-1951, has requested the participation of the PGR in his funeral service and interment.
    Marvin Rathke, 84, of Temple, and formerly of Taylor, passed away on February 18th 2012 in The William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home in Temple.
    Marvin Rathke was born May 21st 1927 to Edwin & Mary Rathke in Welcome, TX.

    Date/Time: Wednesday, Feb. 22nd, 2012, 11:00am

    Location: Condra Funeral Home, 503 Talbot St., Taylor Tx 78674

    Directions: Driving east on Hwy 79 from Hutto, stay on hwy 79 until reaching Talbot St, in Taylor, one block before Main St (Hwy 95). Turn north on Talbot and go 3 blocks to 5th st. The funeral home will be on the north/west corner.
    Use caution in the construction area on Hwy 79.
    If arriving on Main St (Hwy 95), turn west on 5th st and go one block to the funeral home.

    Great turnout today for CPL Rathke. We had 18 bikes, one first timer, and good weather.
    Thanks to Bob for wrangling the flags and bringing the water. Also to those who helped with parking and volunteering to be a pallbearer.

    The family was very appreciative of your presence as they had some members who live too far away to be able to attend.
    I am grateful to be able to ride you all.
