    Extreme short notice confirmed mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service for Mr. John S Fox Jr. Mr. Fox served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII as a bombardier, flying more than 30 missions over Europe, earning the EAME Ribbon and 4 Bronze Battle Stars, Distinguished Flying Cross, Good Conduct Medal and Air Medal and 3 Oak Leaf Cluster.     12:45 pm – 1:15 pm Staging

    1:30 pm- Flag line

    Wx: Hi 80 deg, partly cloudy

    Notes: Start hydrating the day before and bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Dress for the weather. At the start of the funeral service we will break down the flag line and depart quietly.

    Once again short notice was not a problem for our riders. We had 16 in attendance, with 12 bikes, providing a fitting final farewell to another of the greatest generation. And it was great to see Robert ride up as well.

    Mr. Fox's family, including Mrs. Fox, all came out and walked the flag line, thanking each of us for being there. It was our privilege to stand for this American hero.

    Rest in Peace, Sgt Fox.
