    SHORT NOTICE: Confirmed Mission, H.C. Copeland, Colonel (Ret), 81 U.S. Air Force Viet Nam Veteran and POW
    The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family to participate in the service for Colonel H. C. Copeland, retired US Air Force pilot. Colonel Copeland was flying a F105 when he was shot down while leading a mission. He was captured and spent about 5 yrs and 9 months as a POW, most of which was in the Hanoi Hilton. He retired after serving 26 years in the Air Force. He passed away on June 12th, 2012.

    Location: Cook Walden Capital Parks, 14501 N. IH 35, Pflugerville, Tx

    11:45am – 12:15pm – Staging
    12:15pm – Briefing
    12:25pm – Flag Line

    Wx: Partly cloudy, lo of 75 and hi of 95 deg. (KVUE Wx)

    Notes: Please arrived fueled, fed and hydrated. Bring a bottle of water for you and one for a friend. Sunblock recommended.
    The service will be conducted in the chapel, with full military honors being completed outside. Interment will be in San Angelo, Tx on Saturday, June 16th at 11:30am at Lawn Haven Memorial Cemetery, at 4989 FM 1223.
    There will be no procession from Cook Walden on Friday.
