    Final Itinerary

The family of Mr. James Payne has invited the PGR to participate in his funeral and interment services. Mr. Payne served our country in the US Army for many years and was awarded the First Oak Leaf Cluster, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 bronze Service Stars and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. His wife Alta is an active volunteer at Ft Hood and says her husband often wished he could continue to serve along side his brothers-in-arms.

Date/Time: Monday, 15 March 2010. Service scheduled for 12 noon.

Location: Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX, with interment to follow at CTSVC in Killeen.

Directions: Williams Dr. is also FM 2338. From IH35 take the Williams Dr. (FM 2338) exit and go west approx. 5.5 miles. The funeral home will be on your left (south) side of the road, about 0.5 mile after passing the entrance to Sun City. GPS coordinates to the funeral home entrance are N 30deg 42’ 11.81” and W 97deg 44’ 48.09”. Upon arrival at the funeral home proceed to the southeast corner of the parking lot. Please make plans to stand tall and silent in honor of Mr. Payne's long and distinguished service to our country.

Just a word of Caution to those who will be attending the Mission for SFC Payne on Monday. FM 2338 is under construction in the area of the Funeral Home. There is a lot of construction equipment on and off the roadway and a lot of stop and go traffic. Please ride safe and pay a little extra attention in that area.

The Mission for SFC Payne is now complete. I want to Thank all who there today for either or both parts of this mission, and those there in Spirit only. We had 15 Bikes, 3 Trikes and 2 cages. I did not make the internment at CTSVC but I feel sure they had a nice turn out as well. I recieved many Thank You's and comments today from Family and Friends. It's YOU that makes it all happen.
Thanks to all involved in making this Mission a success and especially to all the other RC's present who helped
