Confirmed Mission: The family of SFC George Walter Mitchell, Jr has requested the participation of the PGR in his funeral and interment services. SFC Mitchell entered the US Army in 1964 and served 20 years including three tours in Vietnam as an infantryman and cavalry scout. He earned many awards and commendations throughout his military career, including the Purple Heart.
