    San Antonio Confirmed Mission
    SSgt. Thomas, U.S. Army, Active Duty

    The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family to assist with escorting Staff Sergeant Robert Thomas on Wednesday (Sept 25) to Randolph Air Force Base, where he will depart San Antonio and fly to Dallas, where he will be laid to rest. North Texas PGR will be waiting for SSgt. Thomas’ arrival and be present for the interment SSgt. Thomas died at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, of wounds suffered during at non-combat related incident in Maiwand, Afhanistan, while assigned to 1st Battalion, 36th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, Fort Bliss, Texas. This will be a short escort, ending at base operations on Randolph AFB, where a quick honor line will be formed. If available, please try to attend to honor one of our Fallen Heroes and help support the family during their time of loss. Thank you.

    Helmets, Long Sleeves & Pants, Closed Toe Shoes, and Gloves Will Be Required While Riding On Randolph Air Force Base
