    SSgt Garthwait Gilluly, U.S Army
    Korean, Vietnam Veteran

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family to stand and honor Garthwait Gilluly on Friday (Sept 27) for funeral and interment services. Garthwait retired from the Army after 20 years as a Staff Sergeant, during which time he served in the Korean War and 3 tours in Vietnam, where he received a Purple Heart. Church services will be held at St. Monica’s Church in Converse at 9:30am, where a flag line will be formed prior to the funeral service. The Patriot Guard will then move in procession (LEO escorted) to Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery for interment with military honors, where a final flag line will be formed. If available, please try to attend to honor one of our Veterans and help support the family during their time of loss. Thank you.
