Confirmed San Antonio Mission
Sergeant First Class Robert Erickson
U.S. Army Retired, Korean and Vietnam Veteran
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family (and the Veteran before passing) to stand and honor Sergeant First Class Robert Erickson for interment services with military honors at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery on Friday (Dec 13), at 3:00pm (shelter tba). SFC Erickson served in the Korean War and Vietnam, finally retiring from the Army after 20+ years of service. He was also with the Fort Sam Houston Memorial Services Detachment (MSD) Honor Guard, serving as a volunteer Friday Squad Rifleman, Ceremonial Bugler and rendering the final tribute to over 900 fellow Veterans at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. This mission will be for a flag line at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery for interment services. If available, please try to attend to honor one of our Veterans (one that has stood for many of our Veterans), and help support the family during their time of loss. Thank you.
