The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family to stand and honor Lieutenant Commander Edwin Olenick Jr. for funeral services on Sunday (Mar 17) at Porter Loring North, at 12:00pm. LCDR Olenick is a retired Navy Veteran who served on the USS Whale and USS Tennessee, and after retiring was recruited to the Joint Forces Command as Deputy Director of the Information Operations Range, and more recently to the Threat Systems Management Office as Deputy Director. This mission will be for a flag line only prior to the funeral service, as LCDR will be laid to rest at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. Once the service starts we will break down the flag line and depart. If available, please try to attend to honor one of our local Veterans and help support the family during their time of loss.
