Chaplin Colonel Conrad Walker, Retired
US Army, Vietnam Veteran
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family to stand and honor Chaplin, Colonel Conrad Walker for funeral and interment services on Thursday (June 05). Col. Walker is a Army and Vietman Veteran who served with 101st Airborne Division and 173rd Airborne Brigade, earning the nickname “Leapin' Deacon”, retiring after 25+ years, with over 600 jumps and being one of the highest decorated Chaplins in the Army, including the Silver Star for Gallantry in Action, which he earned in Vietnam. Funeral services will be held at Concordia Lutheran Church at 11:00am, where a flag line will be formed prior to the service. After which the Patriot Guard will move in procession with LEO escot, to Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery for interment with full military honors at 1:30pm, where a final flag line will be established. If available, please try to attend to honor one of our Veterans and help support the family during their time of loss. Thank you.
