A1C Jerry Wall, Air Force KIA
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family to stand and honor A1C Jerry Wall (Air Force KIA) with
participation with the recovery of A1C Wall on Wednesday (Oct 24) from San Antonio International Airport to Puente &
Sons Funeral Chapels at 12:00pm, then with interment services at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery on Friday (Oct
26) at 11:00am. A1C Wall was killed in action on May 18, 1966, while serving in Vietnam. A1C Wall was a loadmaster
on C123B, and during a Candlestick misson when his plane was shot down over Vietnam. A1C Wall was stationed at
Kelly Air Force Base before he was sent to Vietnam, where he was assigned to the 310th Air Commando Sqdn, 315th Air
Commando Wing at Kelly Air Force Base. A1C Jerry Wall’s remains have been recovered and are finally coming home to
San Antonio to be laid to rest. If available, please try to attend to honor and remember one of our lost fallen
heroes with the recovery and/or interment missions listed below. Thank you.
