    Confirmed San Antonio Mission

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the Higdon family to stand and help honor William Higdon, Army and Vietnam Veteran, and avid motorcyclist. This request comes from William’s brother, who is a member of the PGR in SE Texas; SE Tx PGR will also have some bikes coming up for the service. The family will have a celebration of life service at William’s house on River Road outside of New Braunfels on . There will be a short service on the river banks, and William’s sons will spread his ashes in the Guadalupe River, where he spent many days working with Project Healing Waters taking injured troops Sunday (Dec 12) at 2:00pmfrom BAMC fishing.

There is a unique request with this mission… At staging, we will split into two groups, with a forward group heading out to the Higdon residence with the flag truck to form a flag line. Big flag bikes will remain behind and follow about 15 minutes later. At the family’s request, the flag bikes will transport the ashes from the funeral home to the residence. Distance from the funeral home to the residence on River Road is about 14 miles. If available, please try to attend to honor one of Veterans and help support the family during their time of loss. Thank you.
