    San Antonio Confirmed Mission
    Sgt. Thomas Bohall – Army KIA – 07 & 08 June 2011 – San Antonio

The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family to stand and honor Sgt. Thomas Bohall (Army). Sgt. Bohall died of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device in Kandahar province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky. Please remember that Sgt. Bohall was one of six from his unit that were killed during this attack, and we need to keep the other families in our thoughts as well as we stand and honor one of our own. This mission will consist of a recovery from Randolph Air Force Base to Porter Loring North on Tuesday, and the funeral service at Cornerstone Church, with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery on Wednesday. If available, please try to attend to honor one of our local fallen heroes and support the family during their time of loss. Thank you.

RANDOLPH put out this today to all :

Please honor a fallen hero and show your support to his family in their time of grief Tuesday, June 7, at about 10:15 a.m., when the body of Army Sgt. Thomas A. Bohall is returned home from Dover AFB, Del., via Randolph Air Force Base. In a show of respect and gratitude, members of the Randolph community are asked to honor Sergeant Bohall by lining Harmon Drive as his motorcade passes and exits the base.

    Shuttle bus schedule includes:

HQ AETC – 2 busses (pick up between 905-902)
AFPC – 2 busses (pick up at 499D)
19 AF – 1 bus (pick up in front of 19 AF)

Shuttles start at 10 a.m. and continue until 10:30 a.m. Drop off location is Harmon Drive. Return shuttles start immediately after the motorcade exits and continues until all personnel are returned to their units.

Expect delays and traffic detours, and the traffic circle to close for about an hour tomorrow, starting at about 10:15 a.m.
