The Patriot Guard has been invited by the Thompson family to stand and honor TSgt. Lew Thompson, retired Air Force. Lew was a proud veteran and an avid motorcyclist and recently joined the PGR, although after joining, he became ill and was unable to stand with us. He passed away after a very brief battle with cancer.
Graveside services will be held Monday, 11 Oct 2010, at Ft. Sam Houston, shelter tbd. The family has requested our presence and to be part of the escort from the funeral home to Ft. Sam Houston and a flag line to be formed at the cemetery for the service.
Please Note: Helmets are required at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery
