CW3 James Riovo – Army Vietnam Veteran, San Antonio
The Patirot Guard has been invited by the family to stand and honor CW3 James Riovo (Army Veteran), on Friday (Sept 23). CW3 Riovo was a helicopter pilot with the Ghost Riders in Vietnam, and among other decorations and awards he was the recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medals with Valor device, and the Bronze Star. After leaving the Army he flew with the Texas National Guard and life support for a Houston hospital on the civilian side until he retired. Services will be held at 12:00pm at St. Anthony Padua Church, with interment and military honors to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. If available, please try to attend to honor one of our local Veterans and help support the family during their time of loss. Thank you.
