1st Lt. Andres Zermeno (Army – KIA)
The Patriot Guard has been invited by the family to stand and honor 1st Lt. Andres Zermeno (Army – KIA) on Saturday (Oct 08) at 09:30am. 1st Lt. Zermeno died of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with a rocket propelled grenade in Wardak province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Fort. Polk, La. Mass services will be held at St. Mary's University in the Greehey Arena, with interment to follow with military honors at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 12:15pm. If available, please try to attend to honor one of our local Fallen Heroes and support the family during their time of loss. Thank you.
