    Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service of Mr. Roger Fryar, a US Army veteran. Mr. Fryar served from 1963 to 1966, leaving the service as a Spec 4. Additional information about Mr. Fryar can be found here:

    Date/Time: Tuesday, 27 June 2017. Funeral Mass to begin at 10 am.

    Location: St. Helen Catholic Church , 2700 E. University, Georgetown, TX. We will stage at the church.

    Wx: Hi 90 deg, partly cloudy.

    Notes: Start hydrating the day before and bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. This is a flag line only at the church. Burial is scheduled for 12 noon at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. There is no procession planned between the church and the cemetery. Centex PGR will participate in the burial portion.

    We had 15 at today's mission, including one new rider. Welcome, Robert. Terry presented him with a PGR mission accomplished pin. Charles and Warren stayed after to accompany the funeral car and coach up to CTSVC for the noon burial.

    It was warm and muggy, but the partly cloudy skies offered some relief. Thank you to all who gave up part of their morning to stand for this soldier.
