The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the Pflugerville Veterans Day Ceremony to take place at the Fallen Warrior Memorial in Pfluger Park.
Date/Time: Friday, 11 November 2011. Ceremony to begin at 10:30 am.
Location: Pfluger Park, 515 City Park Road, Pflugerville, TX. We will stage at the park.
Directions: The park is located just north of downtown Pflugerville. From the intersection of Pecan and Railroad Avenue, travel north on Railroad Ave approx. 0.5 mile, turn left into the park at the swimming pool and proceed back to the pavilion area. Timeline:
9:00 am-9:45 am staging
9:45 am briefing and flag line.Wx: Sunny, low 38, high 70 deg.
Notes: We will form a flag line at the memorial until the start of the ceremony.

November 11, 2011 at 8:28 pm #3511keithlongacreModeratorI want to thank everyone for coming out today to support the 1st annual Veterans Day Memorial. The program was very good with very good speaches.We even had a fly over. AND, They detaacated a new statue that you MUST go see.
There were 15 of us & everyone did a great job & the folks really appreciated us being there. Some of us went to eat & were treated by Paula & her sister Angie. We had a very moving program and it was honored with y'alls presence. Every time I looked at y'alls flag line detail on the bridge, my eyes couldnt help but tear up.
Thank you, Keith, for putting this detail together – y'all are awesome!!! Y'all have my eternal salute!!!
Next year, Veterans Day will be on a Sunday. My planning committee and I will be looking forward to realllllllllly putting on a special ceremony! I very much look forward to y'all being a part of it!!!
