The term Semper Gumby came into play again today as 14 fellow patriots stood in honor & respect for MSG Sharp & his family. Flags were staked at the main entrance & driveway but we were informed that the the service was to be held in the Chapel not the Sanctuary but the family would be entering by way of the main entrance. When they did not show, we moved to the other side of the building to the Chapel entrance. Turns out. they came to the Chapel entrance instead. Shortly after the start of the service, the family & friends came outside. for the presentation of the rifle volley & taps. After they all returned inside, we departed quietly.
Thanks again to a super job by Flag Wrangler, Don. And Welcome to new member Butch. Thanks also to SC. PGR member, John who took time out of his vacation. Another big thanks goes to Page & Don for staying on the main side just in case.
You all are super for helping families get through this time in their lives.
