Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service for Master Sergeant Donald Fiero. MSG Fiero served in the US Army and Texas National Guard spanning a distinguished 38 year military career.

This mission will be a flag line only at the church.

Date/Time: Saturday, 03 June 2017. Funeral service begins at noon.

Location: Good News United Methoist Church, 1610 E New Hope Dr., Leander, TX 78641. We will stage at the church.

Wx: Hi 89 deg, 60% rain chance

Notes: Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. After the start of the funeral service we will strike the flag line and depart quietly.

Today the rain gave us a break and did not show up during the mission. We were also blessed when we were joined on the line by members of the family/friends, the Team Red, White, and Blue group (Enriching Veterans Lives), and the Blue Star Moms! Hope I did not miss anyone. Combined with our riders, we had 28 people holding flags and standing tall to honor MSG Fiero.
