Riders, we've been invited to participate in Military Appreciation Day with the Round Rock Express again this year.

We'll be part of the pregame program, riding our motorcycles out onto the field and parking on the infield perimeter track for the pregame ceremony.

The Express is generously offering two game tickets to each of our riders.

Date/Time: Thursday, 23 May 2019. The game starts at 7:05 pm.

Location: Dell Diamond, 3400 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78665. We will stage at the ball park.

Staging location. We will stage the motorcycles on the east side of the stadium. See map below. Our staging area will be coned off to regular traffic. Note the entry points to the property at the west end (near The Salt Lick) and east end (near Hat Creek Burger). The center entry point off Hwy 79 will be closed to incoming traffic.

    Timeline:
    5:45 – 6:20 pm – Staging
    6:20 pm – Briefing
6:35 pm – KSU for ride into the stadium and onto the warning track.

Wx: Hi 89 deg F, cloudy skies in the evening.

Notes: Fly your big flags! Bring drinking water; there will be no flag truck. We will ride into the stadium through the right field gate and space ourselves the infield perimeter track. DO NOT RIDE ON THE GRASS. We will remain for the pregame ceremony including honored guest introductions, presentation of colors, fly-over, and national anthem. We will ride out of the stadium through the same gate. All riders will receive two complimentary tickets to the game. Those wishing to stay for the game can leave their bikes parked in the staging area.

Let's have a good turnout for this fun opportunity to honor our service men and women, raise awareness of the PGR and what we do, and enjoy some baseball together.

We had nine bikes and 11 riders on the field at the Dell Diamond last night. To those who didn't make it, you missed a fun time!

Great seats provided by the Express, plus a free beer for veterans! Thanks to Sammy and Sassy who rode in from the Houston area and Scott who rode up from San Antonio and brought along his brother Todd.

There were some moving tributes to those who lost their lives in service to our nation including a young widow with her small daughter who threw the first pitch. Two trumpeters from the 1st Cav band out of Ft Hood played an awesome version of the national anthem.

We managed to stay off the grass again, so assuming we're invited back next year be sure to attend.
