April 4, 2026 at 12:43 pm #7982SoupCampbellModeratorSix riders participated in the Flag Line to honor Captain Mike Hutton. Nicki staked flags at the entrance from the street and a couple at the main door an hour early to show the flag and honor Captain Hutton during the visitation which took place an hour before the service. It was one of the most attended funeral services we have seen. The front parking lot, the back parking lot and two adjacent businesses parking lots were all full. Out of that large group of people many stopped to talk, take pictures of the flagline and thank us for being there. That was very rewarding for us. About 10 minutes prior to the funeral start time it started sprinkling. The last 2 minutes it rained but we waited for the stragglers to get in before we stood down the flagline. Thank you all who came and stood and hung in there when the rain came. RIP Captain Hutton. R.S.(Soup) Campbell, Ride Captain.
