On a very bright sunny, but cold, day, 8 area PGR stood in front of the funeral home to show respect & honor for Mr. Bailey. After the service started, we broke the line & several went to eat lunch. Gary & Calvin then went on to the cemetery just south of Smithville to prepare for the interment. About an hour & a half later, Perry & I escorted the procession to the cemetery where we joined Gary in a flag line at the grave site. The Bastrop volunteer Honor Guard preformed military honors. At the conclusion, per family request, a last rev was done, albeit with only one Harley.
RIP Sir, and thank U for your service.
